[NEWS] Super Junior tops album sales for 1st half

The online album stats site Hanteo Chart reported that Super Junior topped album sales in the first half of this year. Released on March 13, Super Junior’s third album with the title song “Sorry Sorry” sold nearly 110 thousand copies in the first six months of 2009.Following in second place is Girls’ Generation. The girls’ mini album containing “Gee” was rolled out in early January, selling over 72 thousand copies. Girls’ Generation was undoubtedly the hottest group in the earlier part of the year and hopes to ride the momentum into the second half with their new release “Genie (a.k.a. Tell Me Your Wish).”Legendary Seo Tae-ji took third place with his second single “Atomos Part Secret” from his eighth album.
